What are some of the factors that led to your decision to enter the seminary and discern the question of a vocation to the priesthood?

God made it very clear that he wanted me to pursue it both through prayer and desires.

Who are some of the people who influenced your decision to enter the seminary? What is it about them that assisted you?

All of my friends in college seriously discerned the priesthood. Five of my close friends or roommates have entered seminary or religious life. Having it be socially acceptable to seriously discern was very helpful as well as the importance of prayer in our friendship.

Describe the moment that you knew you wanted to take the next steps to become a priest?

The Sunday Mass was said silently and I just asked God where he wanted me. It was very clear to me that I needed to try to pursue being up on the altar. That was when I started making concrete steps before entering the seminary.
