While ministering at the parish, he pursued his studies at Cal State Long Beach and earned a Master of Science degree in Psychology and Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy. After serving for six years, he was assigned to Blessed Sacrament Church for four years, and to St. Kilian Church where he is currently the pastor.

Fr. Angelos served as the Dean of Deanery VI for three years, and Secretary for the Council of Priests, Chair of the Council of Priests for two terms. On June 24, 2022, he was appointed as the Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia of the Diocese of Orange by His Excellency Most Reverend Kevin Vann, Bishop of Orange.

Vicar General is the highest ranking official in the diocese after the Bishop and his Auxiliaries and has full jurisdiction in all matters which the Bishop has not reserved to himself or others by the common law of the Church. As Moderator of the Curia, the Vicar General serves under the authority of the Bishop. This office coordinates administrative duties and serves as the Executive Officer over those who hold offices and minister in various capacities for the diocese.

Using expertise, integrity, and prudence, the Moderator of the Curia offers insight to the Bishop on a variety of subjects and issues facing the diocese. He also assists him in caring for the clergy and makes personnel decisions.
