Immigrant Families Assistance Fund

Join the Diocese of Orange in Supporting
Those Affected by the Immigration Crisis

The Bishops of the Diocese of Orange, joined the California Bishops in their December 12, 2024 statement responding to the “growing distress among you, our migrant brothers and sisters. We want to assure you that we, and our mother, the Church, stand with you in these days of anxiety. You are not alone.” They also recommitted to prayer, accompaniment, and solidarity in their June 10, 2025 statement and called for much needed immigration reform. They echo also the call of the President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio:

“As your shepherds, your fear echoes in our hearts and we make your pain our own. Count on the commitment of all of us to stand with you in this challenging hour.”

This is a challenging moment for our community. In the face of new immigration enforcement efforts, many in our community — our friends and family, our neighbors and fellow parishioners — are experiencing not only fear and anxiety, but economic uncertainty and hardship, as well.

To that end, at the request of Bishop Kevin Vann, the Diocese of Orange has established an Immigrant Families Assistance Fund to aid parishes and parish outreach ministries as they support brothers and sisters of our affected by the immigration crisis and provide them some security and stability in this difficult time.

You can contribute online via the secure button below or by check, payable to the Diocese of Orange and include “Immigrant Families Assistance Fund” on the check memo line. Checks can be delivered to your parish office or sent to:
