Encountering Christ in the book of Psalms

This retreat will focus on the theme of growing in holiness and will help participants
understand how praying the Psalms can become a fundamental part of their daily journey
toward holiness, learning to know, love, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Indeed, the Psalms have played a significant role in the liturgy of the Church, in the Liturgy of the Hours, and in the personal prayer lives of countless saints. This retreat will examine the different types of Psalms found in the Psalter. The aim is to encourage the faithful to begin praying the Liturgy of the Hours and the Psalter.
