Are you hungry for something deeper? Are you going through the motions of your faith? Do you seek renewal in your relationship with God?

Join us for the Burning Hearts retreat on August 16-18 as we dive into this theme through prayer, praise, talks, fellowship, and the Sacraments.

It’s time to reclaim your identity as beloved sons and daughters of God. All young adults  18-29 are welcome.

DATES

The retreat will take place August 16-18, 2024.

It begins Friday, Aug 16, at 7:00 pm and finishes Sunday, ​Aug 18, by 11:00 am.

LOCATION

31701 Rim of the World Dr, Fawnskin, CA 92333

YMCA Camp Whittle is located in the beautiful San ​Bernardino mountains only two hours from Los Angeles and ​2 miles from Big Bear Lake.

TRANSPORTATION

Each retreatant is responsible for their own transportation to ​and from the retreat. If you are interested in or willing to ​carpool, please indicate so on the registration form.

COST

The retreat fee is $175.00. It includes sleeping accommodations and 4 meals (Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday breakfast) and snacks. Register by August 1, 2024 and receive a $25.00 discount.

If there are ANY financial concerns, please let us know. Partial scholarship will be made available if needed. You can pay by credit card upon registration.

FAQs

Registration is easy, just fill out the ​information we need about you and ​make a payment via credit card. Once ​we have your registration, we will email ​you details, directions, and packing list.

Each retreatant will have one to three ​roommates and every room has a ​bathroom. You’ll be able indicate on your ​registration if you have anyone you would ​like to room with.

All retreatants will be responsible for their ​own transportation. Check-in opens 5:00 pm ​on Friday. The retreat begins Friday at 7:00 ​pm and ends Sunday by 11:00 am. There is a ​carpool option on the registration. We will do ​our best to connect all those interested.

In the registration form you can ​indicate if you have any food allergies. ​We will inform the camp of any dietary ​needs you might have. However, we ​encourage you to pack any specific ​foods you might need in case they are ​unable to accomodate your needs.

Here are a few things you will need to ​pack for the retreat:

  • Pillow
  • Sleeping Bag or Twin Bedding
  • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, ​soaps, shampoo, etc.)
  • towel
  • Clothing (including sweatshirt for ​evening)
  • Tennis shoes for hiking
  • Bible and rosary
  • Bug Spray
