Date Night To-Go
To-go Date Night Kits are the center of this initiative. They are curated and filled with items to help sanctify your dates, cultivate meaningful conversations, as well as other gifts for you and your partner to enjoy!
Here’s how it works: you sign up for your to-go kit, and pick up your kit on Friday May 2nd. Then you use your kit at a restaurant, picnic, or even at home on your very own date!

How does it work?
Date Night Kits help you take your partner out on intentional dates.
Here’s how it works:
- * We curated Date Night Kits filled with items to help sanctify your date, cultivate meaningful conversations, as well as other items to enjoy!
- * Sign up to receive a free Date Night Kit OR purchase a paid Date Night Kit.
- * If you have children, sign up for free childcare at Christ Cathedral on February 7, 2025.
- * On February 7th, you pick up your free or paid Date Night Kit and drop off your children for childcare if necessary.
- * Go on your date! You can choose from our curated list of local date ideas or plan your own. Use your Date Night Kit to enhance your experience and encourage future dates.
When?
Date Night Kit Pickup: Friday May 2nd from 9am-7pm
Childcare Dropoff: 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m.
RSVP for childcare required by April 30th

Date Night Kits
Intentional date nights are vital for a strong relationship. The Date Night Kits help couples go on intentional dates to break away from the daily grind and grow in connection.
We are not hosting a date night event. Rather, we provide Date Night Kits as an invitation to help couples connect deeply and grow together. They’re catalysts for meaningful conversation, prayer, and fun.
You may also purchase Date Night Kits as a gift for a couple you know.
Childcare
We understand childcare can be an obstacle to going on dates.
Childcare is available on Friday, February 7th, 2025 for children who are potty-trained to age 12, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in an enclosed and secure location on the Christ Cathedral campus in Garden Grove by trained and certified teachers and staff. All caretakers are fingerprinted and have gone through Safe Environment training.
Childcare includes dinner, snacks, and activities! There will be different rooms setup with various activities for different ages and a common-space for all the children to play and hang out. Children will be able to move about the space freely.
We welcome a donation of $10 per child but this is not required. Please do not let money deter you. Your RSVP below by February 4th would be appreciated so we can prepare for your children.
You do not need to receive or purchase a Date Night Kit to enjoy free Childcare.

This initiative welcomes all couples, married or dating, to take each other out on intentional dates!
Is this an Event?
No, we are not hosting an event.
Rather, we are providing Date Night Kits for you and your partner to go out and enjoy a date night. You are encouraged to use it at a restaurant, picnic, or even at home! We are also providing free childcare if you have children.
What if I’m a single parent?
We got you covered! We would like to offer childcare so you can have time for yourself. Take this time for personal prayer and self-care. RSVP and love yourself 🙂
Do I have to pay for childcare?
We are accepting optional $10/child donations, but do not want money to be a hindrance. Please RSVP even if you are not in a position to donate.
Is there an age range for childcare?
Our trained and trusted caregivers have the capabilities to accept children who are potty trained up to age 12.
What is the time frame for childcare?
You can drop off as early as 6 pm and pick up by 10 pm. Drop off later or pick up early if you need.
Will all the children be together?
Our caregivers will prepare age-appropriate activities which will be in different areas for kids to participate. There will also be a general area for children to play together and hangout under supervision.
