A Celebration of Hispanic Faith and Culture
“The Diocese of Orange serves a large and diverse Hispanic population. Among this community are distinct Latin cultures; each with their own music and performance traditions,” said Deacon Guillermo Torres, Director of Hispanic Ministries for the Diocese of Orange. “The decision to add a separate evening of all-Spanish performances to this year’s Festival pays tribute to the broad canvas Latin music represents and to the thousands of Hispanic Catholics our diocese is fortunate to include.”
Featured Performers
- SIERVAS (The “Rocking Nuns from Peru”): Headlining the event is the remarkable South American rock/pop group comprised of 11 Catholic nuns. Now a music sensation across South America and Spanish-speaking Europe, SIERVAS has performed for Pope Francis and makes its formal U.S. debut at Christ Fest.
