The Orange Catholic Foundation

The Orange Catholic Foundation (OCF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation and an autonomous pious foundation that exists to serve the Diocese of Orange, including its parishes, schools and overall diocesan mission.

The OCF plans and conducts major diocesan fundraising programs, including the Proud to be Catholic Pastoral Services Appeal (PSA), the For Christ Forever capital campaign, the Conference on Business & Ethics, the annual Spring and Fall Wills & Trusts Weeks, and other special events. The OCF is responsible for coordinating parish stewardship education formation and training opportunities for all 62 parishes and centers, encouraging Christian stewardship as a way of life. The Foundation also manages endowments and various charitable funds and works in collaboration with members of our diocese to raise, manage, grow and grant funds supporting all aspects of the Catholic faith following each donor’s intent.


Parish Stewardship Education is a service provided by the Orange Catholic Foundation (OCF) for the benefit of the Diocese of Orange that promotes Christian stewardship as a way of life wherein individuals more fully live their baptismal call to discipleship. The Orange Catholic Foundation promotes Stewardship through conferences, stewardship days for clergy and laity, parish stewardship networking events, online and publication resources, and an annual diocese-wide Parish Stewardship Weekend and Renewal in November for increasing engagement of parishioners at the parish level.

  • Referrals to other relevant stewardship resources
  • Member of the International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC)
  • Updates on opportunities for annual ICSC Conference and other stewardship conference opportunities

Working in partnership with our 62 local parishes and centers from San Clemente to Seal Beach, the OCF conducts the annual Pastoral Services Appeal on behalf of Bishop Vann to raise funds for vital pastoral ministries and to serve Orange County Catholics and the wider community.

  • Scholarships for tuition assistance for Catholic school students
  • Scholarships for faith formation leaders in our parishes and schools
  • Catholic Restorative Justice and Detention Ministry
