Voter Information Sessions

In conjunction with the Orange County Registrar of Voters, the Office of Communications and the Office of Life, Justice & Peace have organized two voter information sessions in advance of the June primary elections.

The sessions will be on Zoom. They are scheduled for the following day and times:

7 p.m. May 3, English
8 p.m. May 3, Spanish

Please note that these are dates and times are different than the ones announced in March. Furthermore, the previously announced sessions in Korean and Vietnamese have been cancelled.

The sessions will be nonpartisan. The Orange County Registrar of Voters is the government agency of the county that organizes elections.

The registrar will cover the following topics:

  • The history of voting
  • Background on the Orange County Registrar of Voters
  • Background on elections
  • Orange County voting model: Voter’s Choice Act
  • Voting registration
  • Language assistance
  • Voting rights act compliance report
  • Social media

Parishes are welcome to organize viewing groups in person, or invite parishioners to watch the sessions from their own homes.
