Resources For Evangelization

Evangelization Tools

Every Parish is different – but every parish needs a process for evangelization. Here are the top tools/programs to consider for an evangelization process:

Discipleship Quads | Steubenville Conferences

WHAT IS A DISCIPLESHIP QUAD?

A Discipleship Quad is a group of four people who journey together as disciples through weekly gatherings of fellowship, ongoing conversion, and learning. This 12-month path of accompaniment fosters growth through prayer, accountability, and authentic relationships. The process may take a few months longer than a year, depending on how often the group needs to reschedule and how quickly they go through the material.

All members of a Quad should be of the same sex to create an atmosphere of intimacy and vulnerability for sharing. Each Quad has a Coordinator, who serves the temporal needs of the Quad and helps facilitate the conversations by modeling authenticity. The Quad Coordinator is the person who starts the Quad.

This process of discipleship is initiated by the Quad Coordinator, though the journey of discipling that takes placein the community formed by the four members of the Quad. It could be described as peer-to- peer discipling, in that it does not have a hierarchical structure, where one leader is passing along his or her knowledge to the others. Rather, a Discipleship Quad is made up of four people who are committed to growing closer to Jesus as his disciples by learning together, sharing life in community, and creating a place for accountability in this journey.

Catholic Christian Outreach – Resources – CCO

Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) is a university student movement dedicated to evangelization. We challenge young adults to live in the fullness of the Catholic faith with a strong emphasis on becoming leaders in the renewal of the world. CCO was founded by André and Angèle Regnier in 1988 at the University of Saskatchewan. From the humble beginnings of a handful of students, the movement now serves thousands of students across Canada.

The CCO™ Faith Study Series  has been designed in order to proclaim the Gospel, equip the faithful and commission them to become missionary disciples. These materials are used in a small group setting and allow for a relatable and dynamic proclamation of the Catholic Faith. They are easy-to-lead and have proven effective in bringing about personal conversions.

ChristLife – https://christlife.org/

ChristLife equips Catholics for the essential work of evangelization so that all people might personally encounter Jesus Christ and be transformed into His missionary disciples.

The ChristLife evangelization process is a proven method of igniting the new evangelization by providing a relational context to begin to make missionary disciples at the parish level. ChristLife helps parishes make missionary disciples by helping people discover Jesus Christ personally, follow Him in their daily lives as Catholic disciples, and share Him with others.

ChristLife is designed to be repeated and become the “core curriculum” for evangelizing and forming adults as missionary disciples. Once a person discovers Jesus, begins to follow Him, and learns to share Him, they want to invite more people on a life-changing adventure with Jesus Christ!
