GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Accompanies the assembly at 5 p.m. Saturday liturgies. Facility with traditional and contemporary music is essential, Specialized title of Organist is used as appropriate.
REPORTS TO: Music Director, Pastor
Pay: 125.00 per service.
Our Lady of Fatima Church in San Clemente has an immediate opening for pianists and/or guitarists (ability to play and sing at the same time a plus), or an ensemble who can play at their 5 p.m. Saturday Vigil Masses.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience as a musician familiar with the Roman Catholic Liturgy
• Demonstrates ability to sight read, improvise, and play music on an elevated level.
• Proficiency in accompanying a cantor, ensemble, or choir.
• A positive attitude and a desire to grow musically and spiritually are essential.
