This past weekend's "I AM: HERE" Eucharistic Pilgrimage was truly a walk to remember!🙏

Participants from across Orange County came together to walk alongside Jesus and share God's presence with Irvine, CA. Four separate processions took place over Saturday and Sunday, with routes beginning at St. Thomas More Church, Our Lady of Peace Korean Center, St. John Neumann Church, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Irvine.

This series of Eucharistic Pilgrimages, conducted in collaboration between @ocyouthleaders and parishes in our diocese, serves to not only bring Christ to the world around us but to build anticipation for the upcoming "I AM" Eucharistic Congress to be held on the Christ Cathedral campus on Oct. 20 & 21.

At the 43rd Annual Dozynki Harvest Festival “everyone has a common goal, and that is to give thanks!” 🙌

This past weekend, Saint John Paul II Polish Center hosted the event that featured traditional foods, music, and entertainment.

Dozynki is a celebration of Thanksgiving after a bountiful harvest that dates back to 16th century Poland and it remains a long-standing tradition in Polish communities worldwide.

Happy #LaborDay from the Diocese of Orange! Let’s pray👇

God, in your goodness, you have made a home for the worker. Make a place in our hearts for compassion for the men and women who labor tirelessly for basic necessities. Ensure a place for the men and women who are struggling to find work. Grant us your wisdom to greet and care for those who are unable to work due to illness or circumstances that prevent their participation. Be with the children who cannot run and play but instead must put in a hard day’s work to help their family afford to eat and live. Be with us all, Christ Jesus, as we go about the busyness of our work. Hold us accountable not only for our actions but most importantly, to each of our neighbors. May we continue to work together to bring about your reign! We ask this in your holy name through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🙏
