GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Parish Faith Formation provides information, assesses needs, promotes dialogue, and facilitates networking for parish staff members involved in Faith Formation ministries serving children (Pre-School to 8th grade) as well as adults.

  • Consultation on best practices for parent engagement and formation
  • Workshops addressing Catechetical needs, trends, methods, and materials including:
    • Called and Gifted Workshops
    • Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
  • Annual meeting and ongoing communication with parish Catechetical leaders through the deanery structure
  • Advent and Lent Morning of Reflection
  • Networking meetings for those who coordinate
    • Adult Faith Formation
    • Whole Community Catechesis
    • Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
  • Faith Formation Handbook and consultation on policy & procedures
  • Resources for First Reconciliation and Eucharist preparation
