Olive Crest has several programs which are designed to help families stay together through chaplaincy, and mentoring programs. They also offer a spiritual mentoring component for the youth in their care. Emergency shelter care and foster care is offered to those suffering from domestic abuse.

This center provides 12 beds for teenagers in crisis situations. The age group served is 11-17. The typical length of stay for a teen is 2 weeks and the shelter’s purpose is for family re-unification. If this is not possible, then the shelter will work in conjunction with other agencies to find permanent housing for the youth.

The Child Abuse Prevention Center works directly with families who are at risk of child abuse and neglect. Our programs include providing basic household necessities to families; educating parents on parenting strategies and providing support, all in the familiar surroundings of their own homes; and helping victims of child abuse serving as their advocate. The Center also offers various group services, panels and seminars designed to educate indiviuals and groups on issues such as teen dating violence prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, and helping children cope with parental separation or divorce.
