Welcome to Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic parish in the diocese of Orange. Our parish is staffed by six Norbertine priests assigned by the abbey of Saint Michael in Orange. The Norbertines of Saint Michael’s follow the nine hundred-year-old traditions of the Canons Regular of Prémontré, founded by Saint Norbert. Their primary work, as a Religious Order, is the reverent public chanting of the choir office. In addition to this, the priests serve in the parish church and its grammar school. 

Located at the heart of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange in California, faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ as articulated by His Vicar on earth and under the pastoral care of the Norbertine Fathers, St. John the Baptist parish:

  • Centers its life on the worship and celebration of the Eucharist.
  • Embraces diverse cultures, praising God in four languages.
  • Sends forth its people to be effective witnesses to the love and truth of the Gospel.
