You are God’s gift to the world. Humbling, isn’t it? Saint Paul certainly thought so.
“But we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us.” (2 Corinthians 4:7). Saint Teresa ofAvila says, “Christ has no body but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes with which He looks compassion on this world.
Yours are the feet with which He walks to do good. Yours are the hands, with which He blesses all the world …” Let us rediscover the Joy of responding to the beauty of Christ at work in us through our humble efforts.
