BLOSSOM, the Santiago Girls Camp
June 25, 2017 @ 8:00 am - June 30, 2017 @ 5:00 pm
Blossom Santiago Girls Camp is a five-day, overnight Catholic camp just for girls ages 8-13. It’s Christ-centered, full of adventure and unlike any other girls’ camp anywhere!
We have plenty of laughs, get a little dirty, hike, swim, face the low ropes challenge, play games, sing campfire songs and make great friends. But our greatest treasures at Blossom Camp are celebrating the Sacraments, reinforcing the beauty and dignity of every girl with unique formation themes, and getting to see and meet religious sisters from several different orders throughout the week as they lead us each day.
One day, the sisters might join us for the Stations of the Cross; another, in the Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet. They teach, share meal time, play foosball, make crafts and play games with campers all throughout the week. The sisters may lead us in song at Mass or prepare meditations for Eucharistic Adoration–whatever is most in keeping with the charism of their Order–and this is what makes BLOSSOM Camp a one-of-a-kind experience!
We partner with Endow (Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women), a Denver-based Catholic women’s apostolate, and adapt the content of their youth studies for use in a camp setting–so your daughter’s experience a camp with purpose. For 2017, the theme is Discovering Holy Friendships. When we put all the pieces together, girls simply BLOSSOM–into more of what God created them to be, more aware of the vocations a girl may be called to; and more capable of being a good (and holy) friend –to others, themselves, and especially, Jesus!
