SUMMARY:Summer Retreat: A Theological Journey through the Gospels and Acts of the Apostles
DESCRIPTION:*The Catholic Biblical Institute in the Diocese of Orange presents these short retreats with the goal of inspiring the faithful to continually study Sacred Scripture. All are welcomed to attend. Those wishing to take more courses in The Biblical institute may take these retreats as part of their introductory preparation. More information will be provided during our retreat. \n\n\n\nPresentations will include: \n\n\n\n\nMonday June 22 – The Gospel of Matthew: The Gospel as a Message of fulfillment in Christ.\n\n\n\nTuesday June 23 – The Gospel of Mark: Discipleship\, the Road to the Cross and Jesus’ divinity.\n\n\n\nWednesday June 24 – The Gospel of Luke: Sinners\, Banquets and the Encounter at Emmaus.\n\n\n\nThursday June 25 – The Gospel of John: The Book of Signs and the Book of Glory.\n\n\n\nFriday June 26 – Acts of the Apostles: Part 1: Saint Peter and the Council at Jerusalem.\n\n\n\nSaturday June 27 – Acts of the Apostles: Part 2: The ministry of Saint Paul and his trial in Rome.
