Catholic Hospitals and Health Care Overview

This listing of health services in Orange County is provided for your convenience. The Diocese of Orange is not responsible for these facilities or the services offered.

Some hospitals and convalescent homes within Parish boundaries are served there, with the exception of those medical facilities that have their own chaplain. Pastors have a responsibility for the spiritual care of all their parishioners, including those in hospitals and rest homes. Priests of the parish visit patients in these institutions. Families should notify the local pastor when placing a Catholic patient in an institution in his parish so that arrangements can be made for Reconciliation, Communion and pastoral visits.
