Welcome home

St. Joseph Parish in Placentia is offering a special series called “Welcome Home” for Catholics who have been away from the Church for any reason and any length of time. The series will be held on Thursdays at 7 p.m. through Feb. 6 in the church’s Parish Center.

The series offers a safe and welcoming environment where people can ask questions and share hurtful experiences and concerns they may have. Ultimately, the sessions encourage attendees to make a spiritual connection with God and the Catholic faith again.

Topics will include: Welcome and series overview; sharing of concerns; an explanation of the Mass; a look at today’s Church; God’s mercy and the sacrament of reconciliation; a behind-the-scenes tour of the church; a Q&A; and tools to help people to continue to grow in their faith.

St. Joseph’s Parish is located at 717 N. Bradford Ave. in Placentia. For more information contact: Summer Pongettiat the Parish Office (714) 528-1487, or by email at spongetti@stjosephplacentia.org.
