Saturday night, June 27, was Catholic Night at the Angel game. Showing great form, Sister Eymard Flood, Vicar of Religious at Christ Cathedral, threw out the first pitch at Anaheim Stadium to start the Angels’ game against the Seattle Mariners.
Approximately 1,000 Catholics from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange attended this annual event, which also featured a movie that was screened in the outfield after the game, with families invited down on the field to watch.
Select Catholic school athletes from the Trinity League were hosted at a special event during the game.
