Tracey Kincaid joins the Diocese of Orange from the University of California, Irvine
Garden Grove, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2018) – Tracey Kincaid, a veteran media professional with experience in communications and public affairs, has been named Director of Communications for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange, Vicar General Msgr. Stephen Doktorczyk announced today.
Kincaid, the former Executive Director of Communications and Public Affairs at the University of California, Irvine, will begin her new role at the Diocese of Orange on Wednesday, Nov. 28. She will report to Msgr. Doktorczyk.
Bishop Kevin Vann is pleased to welcome Tracey to the Diocese of Orange and looks forward to working with her in her important new role.
“Tracey has a proven record of impressive success and brings to our Diocese a wealth of real-world professional communications experience,” Msgr. Doktorczyk said.
Heading the Office of Communications, Kincaid will be responsible for managing the creation and implementation of a multi-faceted communications plan designed to build and strengthen the Diocese’s role and reputation as a leading voice for Catholics in Orange County and across Southern California. Tracey will also serve as a primary spokesperson for the Diocese.
Prior to joining the University of California, Irvine, Kincaid served as Associate Vice President and Director of Corporate Communications for Zenith Education Group and Chief Communications Officer for United HealthCare (PacifiCare). She earned an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) from the International Association of Business Communicators.
Kincaid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from California State University, Long Beach.
