Scout Office (boys):
Goal: The
intent is to provide an incentive to have the youth learn more of
their faith and to keep their faith in Scouting.
Programs:
Parvuli Dei (Children of God) The purpose of the
program is to help young boys explore a wide range of activities
in order to discover the presence of God in their daily lives as
members of their family and parish, and also to develop a good positive
self-image through the contributions they can make to the group
or community.
Light of Christ The purpose of the program is to
help the Tiger and Wolf scouts develop a personal relationship with
Jesus.
Ad Altare Dei The purpose of the program is to
equip the Scout to take his place in the world as a maturing Catholic
and a maturing American.
Scout Office (girls)
Goal: The mission
is to spread the Good news to girls from first grade through high
school using the Religious Emblem awards designed to increasingly
help each girl to continue to grow in her faith as she progresses
to the next level.
Programs:
Family of God Program is an activity series developed
to complement the formal catechetical efforts of parish and family.
This program helps children explore a wide range of activities while
discovering the presence of God in their daily lives as members
of their family and parish.
I Live My Faith Program focuses in on developing
an awareness of the girl's individual potential as a responsible
member of her family and as growing member of her faith community.
Marian Medal Program provides an opportunity for
the girl to develop new insights into herself, her relationships
with her family, the community and church through varied service
projects. The main emphasis is on Mary as a model for their lives
and a hope for the future.
Spirit Alive Program is designed to assist youth
in discovering how the Holy Spirit moves within their lives. The
major resources used in this program are the sacred Scriptures and
some documents of the Second Vatican Council.
