Every year Bishop Tod Brown appeals to members of all 62 parishes, centers, missions and chapels, through their respective pastors and administrators, for financial support of diocesan pastoral ministries & services which serve people throughout Orange County. For 2007, Bishop Brown established allocations totaling $5,304,500 to fund the apostolates listed on the PSA Ministry Descriptions page for 2007-2008. Payments in excess of each parish's share of those allocations are returned to the donor's own parish as rebates to be used for parish needs. To make a pledge, contact your parish office.

The Purpose of the Pastoral Services Appeal:

1. To educate Catholics about the Diocese of Orange and give them an opportunity to participate directly in the mission of the local church.
2. To collect gifts of at least $5,304,500 for ministries and services funded by the PSA.
3. To utilize the PSA rebate plan to fund parish ministries, charities and building projects.
