P/T Secretary for the Office for Worship and the Hispanic Ministry Office
This part-time position requires that the applicant be outgoing and have good communication skills. The position covers two departments; Office for Worship and the Hispanic Ministry Office, therefore the candidate must have a familiarity with Catholic Liturgy and must be fully bi-lingual. Must have professional phone skills as well as be computer proficient. Other duties include the following:
- Answer both departmental phone lines
- Operate FAX
- Make copies
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Letters (on weekly basis as they are received right now they are being done monthly)
- Prepare check requests under the direction of the Program Assistant
- Prepare Handouts for Meetings and Events
- Prepare Rooms for Meetings
- Make Facility Reservations
- Conduct on-going Reference Checks of preachers and presenters
- Edit/Create Letters of recommendation for the Hispanic Ministry Director as requests are made (typically about 1/week)

Office Manager – Office of Development
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Development, this position is responsible for managing the development and stewardship operations, maintaining the donor data base, and providing direct support to the director.
REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, delegate, set schedules, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and with other members of the department in a team setting.
- Working knowledge of general office procedures, including secretarial techniques, general bookkeeping, accurate record keeping, filing, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to adapt to donor/fundraising database software.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism required interacting with other employees of the Diocese, volunteers and donors.
Associate degree in business or equivalent
- Three years working experience in a related position.
- Three years working experience in Microsoft applications. Fundraising and donor database software experience preferred.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the Catholic Church, its vision, teachings and structure.
DESIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business
- Fundraising and donor database software experience.

- Budget Analyst - Construction Management Services
This position has HIGH visibility with regards to Diocesan representation to contractors, vendors and the general public at large. The individual must conduct themselves with a very high level of professionalism and tactfulness to gain the trust and confidence of individuals that they work with. This person must not be afraid to communicate with people to resolve problems.
REQUIRED: Two to five years experience in Construction Accounting / Project Management / Facility Training, Insurance, and Purchasing; utilizing generally accepted accounting principals; preparation of detailed cost analysis and reports; construction accounts payable, knowledge of 20-day notices, conditional and unconditional releases.
DESIRED: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Programs (Word and Excel).
