In 1998, the Most Reverend Tod D. Brown became Bishop of the Orange, CA Diocese. He was ordained a priest for the Monterey Diocese in 1963 and Bishop of Boise, ID, in 1989.

The Pastoral Letter

When the Bishop writes a PASTORAL LETTER, he sets a major direction for the Diocese. By issuing LEARNING, LOVING, AND LIVING OUR FAITH Bishop Brown calls forth an occasion and an opportunity for all the Catholics in the Diocese to deepen their witness to the Gospel. By learning, loving and living our faith, every Catholic can experience the presence of Christ and the Holy Spirit empowering them to bring God’s love to the world.
