| Purpose of Certification Program
The Certificate program in Catholic Studies offers interested adults a structured, college-level curriculum in which to pursue Catholic teaching and tradition. The program will enable the student to:
- Pursue a course of study that will provide a general orientation to all areas of Church life,
i.e., the scriptures, sacraments, moral theology and spirituality.
- Strengthen the talents and gifts of those already engaged in ministry.
- Animate the Christian call to discipleship in the world.
- Interpret and integrate the challenges of living a contemporary Catholic life.
Requirements
The Certificate Program in Catholic Studies is offered for adults in the Diocese of Orange. Formal acceptance into the program requires:
- completed application form available from the IPM Office and on file there
- written recommendation by a parish or diocesan staff member
