The newest addition to the streaming video page is a special feature
on the 30th anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision in the case
of Roe v. Wade, which cleared the way for legalized abortion in
the United States. It provides a look at a new campaign supported
by the USCCB's Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities to spread the
word that "women deserve better" than abortion, as well
as a candid look at the most powerful voice on the front lines of
the pro-life debate those courageous women who've had abortions
and are now coming forward to share their tragic stories.
Also available on the streaming video page: clips
from 'Answering God's Call', a documentary produced by the Catholic
Communication Campaign which tells the story of two devoted men
whose experiences show us that there's more to the priesthood than
celebrating Mass on Sunday; an interview with Kathleen McChesney,
the new executive director of the Bishops' Office for Child and
Youth Protection; and a series of interviews with members of the
National Review Board.
Dioceses and parishes are welcome to link to the
CCC's streaming video page or to use the segments in local programming.
